LVT

I grew up in California and dabbled with working in animal shelters, doggie daycares, and rescues! When I moved to Seattle I worked in doggy daycare for some time then moving to the Graham area and went into veterinary medicine for large animal, small animal, and exotics for four years as a kennel assistant and then veterinary assistant until pursuing my goal of becoming an LVT that’s where I found a passion for dentals and surgeries and most importantly providing the best care for everyone’s furbabies!

With my husband and son we love to do anything outdoors especially camping and traveling to new places to explore and relax! In my spare time I love to read, I enjoy ciders and cuddling with all my fur-babies; Tito, buzz, and Z.

Miranda

LVT

I was born and raised in California and earned my degree as a Veterinary Technician in 2016. I visited Washington as a teenager and fell in love with the upper Pacific Northwest. I moved to Washington in 2019. I have previous experience working six years in small animal practices and nearly two years working in a high-volume surgical and emergency setting as an anesthesia technician. My passion for anesthesia has led me to learn and continue to pursue golden standard medicine and pain management. Following a personal love for homesteading and the great outdoors, I dream of starting my own dairy and pack goat business in a few years with my partner.

Clarissa

VA

Born and raised in the PNW. I have always had a deep love for animals. I was the kid who would play doctor with my stuffed animals and try to bring stray animals home because it made me sad that they didn’t have their own. I started my vet medicine career back in 2020, where I began as a CSR, moved to kennel assistant, and shortly after transitioned to veterinary assistant. I love what I do because I get to advocate for the ones who don’t have a voice, and giving them the best possible care is what I strive for, and of course building trusting relationships with their owners. In the future, I want to have a farm where I can build a foster sanctuary for senior animals of all kinds. In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my dog Jester hiking, going to the beach, and, his favorite, taking trips to Starbucks for pup cups.

Isabella enjoys hiking and exploring, or staying home reading books with her dog Princess, cat Taz, and sometimes even her snake, Monty. Isabella can’t wait to work with you!

Alaina

VA

I have lived in ten different states now and have been in Washington for two years. I began working in veterinary medicine in 2018. I had my first job when I was 13 on a horse farm, and that’s when I realized working with animals was my passion. I started off as a Veterinary Assistant, and for the past two and a half years, I have been working in surgery and specialty. In my spare time, I enjoy hanging out with my own animals, Haka, Oakley, and Luna. I also enjoy hiking, exploring small mountain towns, and going to the dog park with my fur babies.

Rachel

VA

Rachel was born and raised in Washington, with a love for all animals and art. Shortly after Covid struck the world, she landed a job as a veterinary receptionist and hasn’t looked back since. She fell in love with veterinary medicine, treating patients, and not only helping family’s loved pets but educating owners as well. Herself and significant other have been breeding ball pythons since 2020, which helped find a new passion for all exotic animals along with furry ones! When not working, she loves cooking, painting, hiking, and spending quality time with her significant other, boxer-mix, Kuma, siamese-mix, Zorro, and hedgehog, Fern.

VA

I was born in Mexico City, Mexico, and raised in the Renton area. Have always had a love for animals since I was a little girl. Throughout the past couple of years, I’ve rescued and fostered a variety of animals in need, varying from birds to guinea pigs. Started as a receptionist and slowly transitioned to assistant.
I have a personal petting zoo at home, which consists of a pomchi dog named Rocky, an 8.5-lb rabbit named Smokey Quartz, and two cockatiel birds named Ru and Wybie. My babies are my life and hobby. Outside of my pets, I love to play video games, garden, hike, paint, and cook. During the summer, my boy Rocky loves to come paddle board with me and sun bathe.
I’ve grown to love veterinary medicine over the past 2 years I’ve been in the industry, and I hope to one day be able to call myself Dr Aguilar Rivera.

Lead CSR

Washington has been my home since 2021. Originally from Southern California, my partner and I relocated for work, never having visited the state before. We fell in love with it here and have continued to grow our little family while exploring all the PNW has to offer. I’m so excited to continue pursuing my passion for animal care at Saltwater Animal Hospital. With over 17 years of experience, I’ve had many different roles in the field. What I enjoy most are meeting new clients and their pets, hearing their stories and their concerns, and ensuring that they always feel taken care of. When I’m not working, you can find me adventuring outdoors with my partner, our two children, and our little mutt, Pocket.

Californian native from the Bay Area (Go Niners and Go Sharks). Moved to Washington in 2020 to be with family and raise a little one. Has 2 fur kitties as well as 3 more kitties with family in California. Always had love and compassion for animals since childhood, especially a passion for cats. Was a long time kitten foster (my 5 included) long before being introduced into the vet field over 11 years ago (12 years this September/2023) and not only enjoy, but LOVE the field since getting in the door. Not only enjoys getting to know the owners and their pets, but has learned a great deal about animal medicine and can wait to see and learn what the future in vet medicine holds.

CSR

I am an animal and sushi lover, born and raised in Texas for the most part. I grew up in Germany from ‘07- 09’, eventually moving back to Texas. Immediately after high school, I went to Germany again to be a Nanny for a few months and then started my customer service journey. I worked in customer service for over six years at all kinds of companies, expanding my passion to help people/all living things. I moved to Des Moines seven months ago, following my mom, who moved here from Texas in 2017. I’m looking forward to learning all about this amazing line of work and creating new furry and non-furry friends!
